I was chatting to the lovely Jacqui J yesterday and we challenged each other to do a monkey card. Of course when I thought of monkeys I thought of the game “Barrel of Monkeys”, so that is where this card started … Thanks for the kick in the butt Jacqui!!
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Real Red, Whisper White, Neutrals DP Stack
Stamps: Fox & Friends, Pocket Silhouetts (leaves in background), Teeny Tiny Sentiments (“Happy Birthday”)
Accessories: Real Red Narrow Grosgrain ribbon, Word Window and Wide Oval punches
I’ve used some of the designer paper from the Neutrals stack on the bottom of the card. I’m LOVING the stacks, I think everyone is going to fall for them when they see the fabulous colours. If you would like to get a share of the designer paper stacks, then check out the details here and drop me an e-mail or phone me on (06) 753-5337 to let me know which options you would like. The Designer Paper Pattern Stacks are option # 2.
These colours are from the in-colour stack – aren’t they yummy??

That is a very clever, well made card Sharlene. I don't know where you get your ideas from. I could never think of something like that. Well done.
WOW LOVE IT! you put me to shame, I gave up trying to make a barrel after 15 minutes! Now I will have to copy yours as you made it work so perfectly, very impressed! Love everything about the card and have to say the patterned paper looks so much better than the samll pic in the catelogue - it doesn't do it justice!
Love the barrel of monkeys card - it clever, and I just may have to case that!
That is so cute! I love that set :)
