BLAKE'S BIRTHDAY CARD (FINALLY!)

wanted 1wanted card 1 inside

While we were in Rotorua last weekend my nephew, Blake, had his 11th birthday. We were disappointed to not be there to celebrate with them, but I will get to see him tomorrow and will finally be able to give him his gift and card. Only a week late, but better late than never, right??

I made little "buttons" on the front so that the card is held closed with the twine wrapped around the buttons. When you unwind the twine the card opens to show the message inside. Going with the whole western feel, it kind of reminded me of saloon doors (not that I'm encouraging an 11 year old to visit a saloon!!).

Stamps: Wanted, It's Your Birthday
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow, Very Vanilla, Outlaw designer paper
Extras: 1" punch, twine, and dimensionals (for buttons)
