SCALLOP FLOWER

We had a great time on Saturday at our World Card Making Day event! We had 5 demos involved, each of us designed 2 cards each and then our customers got to come and stamp until their little hearts were content! It's enough to make you cry ...

This is one of my cards. I really love the fact that we got to use the scallop punch in a different way; by snipping the scallops almost to the centre you create "petals" for your flower.

If you don't already have this punch - you NEED it! It's one of my absolute favourites, and I do tend to use it rather a lot ... but it's sooooo cute ...

The really great news is that on Saturday we made 100 cards, so that means we raised $100 for Starship, so that will be going their way this week. How awesome is that - doing something we love and actually being able to raise money out of it for a really fabulous cause as well?
