WE STAMP WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE (just a little late ...)

Okay, so maybe I'm just a day or so late, but I've finally got there!  This is the card I created with the sketch that Michelle came up with.

Now I have to rush - I have 2 scrapbook pages to make tonight before I hit the sack so that Mum and Dad can take them to Nana tomorrow to add to her calendar; and, as normal I'm running just a little behind ...

Keep on stampin'!

MERCY'S SKETCH # 14

I always have great plans to play along with lots of these amazing challenges, sketches, etc, but by the time I get around to it they are normally closed.  So you can imagine how clever I think I am today by actually posting the first day of the challenge (it's Tuesday in the USA, but Wednesday here, so it really is the first day, trust me!)

Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge # 14

Those Americans - they don't know how to spell colour!!  Just kidding!  It actually took me a few years being back in New Zealand to start spelling things again with the "our" instead of the "or" like colour - see what all those years of brain washing in the USA did!  Actually I think it's 15 years of being married to a crazy American, it's nothing to do with the spelling!!!  If you are reading this Harry, I love ya really ...

Anyway, I've actually been stamping tonight!  How's that for amazing?!  I should really be working on my swaps for incentive trip (just next week!), but I've not even started on those yet.  I keep waiting for inspiration to smack me up side of the head on that one.  Until then, I'm playing around with the Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge.

Raspberry suite # 14

We don't have exact matches down here in little old New Zealand, so I had to work with Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy, and Very Vanilla.  I even used one of the filigree brads that I've been hoarding and not using.  I finally decided that I have to get over it and splurge!  So I used one whole brad on this card tonight ...

 noosa pack
Great news - I got my itinerary and info for incentive trip today!  Only 1 more week and we'll be jetting off to Noosa for an all-expenses paid trip courtesy of Stampin' Up!  How's that for awesome?!  If you want to find out how you can earn an incredible trip for 2 to Hamilton Island next year, then e-mail me or call me now and I can start you on the trip of a lifetime!

Well I'm off to bed.  Hopefully I'll be struck in the middle of the night with an amazing idea for a swap for incentive trip!?

Stamp on!

More Eastern Blooming ...

embrace life 5So maybe I'm a little obsessed by Eastern Blooms (and Embrace Life!), but I just really LOVE these sets! I just hope that it makes it to the new catalogue on April 1st or I'm going to be a little upset ...

Another K Werner colour challenge! I must admit, I wasn't sure how the blue was going to fit with all those Earth Element colours that I love - it just seemed that the blue wasn't going to fit, but after putting it together I actually like the colours together. I guess that's the idea of challenges - to make you put together colours that you typically wouldn't and to get you outside your regular comfort zone.

My rechargeable batteries in my camera died on me while I was trying to photograph this card, so I had to scan it instead and unfortunately it didn't turn out looking as good in the scan as it does in real life, but you get the idea.

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Polka Dot background
Colours: Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Brocade Blue
Accessories: Buttons, clear EP, dimensionals
