I'm so excited - I actually got my card made and uploaded before the challenge ended!!
Anyway, this is my card for the challenge. I really LOVE these colours together - just something really classic and elegant about them.
If you are looking at my "white" hodge podge and wondering where I laid my hands on that, you will be surprised to know that it's actually a piece of brass hodge podge that I embossed in white embossing powder! Simply squish (technical term there) your hodge podge piece into your Versamark, and then using tweezers, dip it into the EP and heat. You will probably have to do a 2nd layer of EP to achieve the finished look you want. Be careful - you are heating metal, so it stays hot a long time after you have finished heating it with your heat gun!! Don't ask me how I know ...
